Rachel's story

Rachel Cook wanted to start a business but wasn't sure what. Before committing, she spoke to more than 20 ActionCOACH coaches, who gave her the honest picture: good and bad. Then she trained, followed the launch plan by the book and signed two clients in her second week.

Andrew's story

Andrew Joy knows what it feels like when a job stops being about the people and starts being about the exit multiple. He'd spent the best part of a decade at a pest control business, rising from UK Sales Manager to Sales Director and helping take it from £26 million to £120 million in turnover. Then private equity came in, the focus changed and he left.

He'd worked with ActionCOACH before. He came back by choice.

Six weeks after his training he was coaching his first client. Today he works with 27 businesses in Harrogate. One of his clients has grown turnover by 300%. Another doubled his profit in year one and took time off to climb Kilimanjaro.

Why ActionCOACH UK.

We founded the business coaching profession in 1993. Today there are around 1,000 ActionCOACH coaches worldwide and 200 in the UK. Only a handful of franchisors have been rated five stars by their own franchise partners every year since the WorkBuzz survey began in 2013. We're one of them.

Getting there: Just off the M60 and M61, with free parking on site.

Places: Deliberately limited, so our leadership team can work with every candidate in small groups. Requests close at midnight on Tuesday 27 October. Every request is followed up with a short call before your place is confirmed.

What experience do I need?
We train you fully. What we look for is drive, energy and a genuine desire to help business owners

Do I need to prepare anything?
Just your DISC profile, which takes a few minutes and we'll send you before the day. Come ready to take part.

What does the role involve financially?
There is a training investment, and we'd rather talk you through it properly than reduce it to a line on a page. We'll cover it fully on your call and on the morning.

When will I find out about the role in detail?
On your call before the day, and in full on the morning.

What happens after the morning?
Successful candidates move to a one-to-one to build a plan together. Our next training intake starts in January.
